Frank King.. Where should I start about this ridiculously insightful man?

He’s a writer, suicide prevention speaker, mental health comedian, and 5-time TEDx Talker (he actually would’ve been a 7-time TEDx Talker had he not had to decline two of them because of his busy schedule partaking in suicide prevention speaking events on a cruise ship).

Growing up in the comedy business, Frank traveled around in a beat-up mini van across the United States and Canada doing free stand-up comedy shows at dive bars in almost vacant towns. We’ve all heard that story before, but I promise, his gets more interested.

One day, Frank received a phone call from someone claiming to be the assistant of Jay Leno. He quote, “almost pissed himself laughing.”

Turns out, it was Jay Leno’s assistant. Two months later, he was one of the head writers for the Tonight Show. Frank wrote for Jay Leno’s show for 25 years. I’m currently 25-years-old, so that’s, like, a lotta years.

Jump forward a bit to the recent times: He spends his time running a few podcasts, guesting on 4–5 podcasts per week, and giving public speaking advice to those who reach out to him. But his main job?

Frank King’s Logo

Frank King is a TEDx Coach.

What does that even mean? Seriously?

Well, he spends most of his time training, mentoring, and coaching people of all ages and educations on not only how to write their TED speech, but how to absolutely nail their audition.

The key factor here is: ANYBODY can apply to do a TEDx Talk. Really, anybody. A pot-smoking high schooler who wants to spread the notion that weed has magical powers, a newly divorced husband who found a new love in golf, or an award-winning brain surgeon who just discovered the cure to MS.

Frank’s purpose is to take that client, take their “idea worth spreading,” and help them develop it, develop themselves, develop their speaking skills, and give them the inside scoop on what exactly TED audition judges are looking for during the audition. His training is fool-proof, and it doesn’t help that he’s one of the funniest humans on earth to have a virtual Zoom coffee with.

You can book a free virtual call with Frank himself here, and make sure you tell him Seth sent ya, because I’m sure he’ll have some embarrassing story to tell about me that’ll make you look at me in a new light. Possibly a better light?

If 2021 isn’t the year to get on that TED stage, when will it be?

Stop putting it off, it’s f*cking easy, and you can call yourself a celebrity once it’s over and done with. Go talk to Frank, he’ll tell you all about his own personal experiences.

“You can make a difference. You can change a life. I can show you how.”
